Occupation; I'm between jobs after bailing on care sector after more than 20 years earlier this year. Currently looking for something part time while I'm getting my business restarted so that I have some free time to dedicate to it.
Do you have any pets?? Nope
How long have you been online journaling? since 2001 or 2002 it was back when LJ stilll had invite codes, I've been on DW since 2010(ish) and deleted my LJ sometime in 2013.
Why do you like online journaling? I can dump my thoughts out and post my fic, wallpapers, icons when I have those to share
What are some of your hobbies? writing fic, making icons, making wallpapers, running (still getting back into it after an ankle injury last winter), travelling, rugby league (going to games and watching on telly when I can't get to a game)
Favorite bands/artists: Far too many! I love music and listen to almost anything but my most played recently has been Fanning Dempsey National Park, BANKS, Something For Kate, Happy Hardcore (various DJs and production teams) and a playlist for an in-progress fic series.
Favorite TV shows: Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Prodigy, The Brokenwood Mysteries, Stargate SG-1, Private Eyes, Eureka, X-Files, Taggart, Wycliffe, Dynasty (1980s), Batman: The Animated Series and many many more
Favorite movies: Far too many! Devdas (Bimal Roy's adaptation), Madagascar, Bhoot, Dhoom trilogy, The Interpreter, Secret In Their Eyes (US adaptation), Despicable Me
Favorite books: Devdas, The Dyslexic Advantage, Lonely Planet guides (for planning travels)
Other fandoms: Loads, while I do tend to drop away from fandoms after a while I never really leave them as I'll sometimes wander back in for a while to play.
Is your journal friends only, partial or public?: friends only there is maybe 5 or 6 public posts
How often do you update?: I post most days and I post my fic/walls/icons to alittleimprobable
What do you want in an DW friend?: people who read and sometimes comment, I read everything on my f-list and I try to comment when I can but I don't always remember to so I'm very much "give me a nudge" if I miss something.
