Age/Location: 33, Buenos Aires - Argentina.
Occupation: Paid Search Associate (I basically work at marketing, advertising in Google and Bing ads). Also a student, since I'm studying UX design.
Do you have any pets?? Yes! I have a 5 years-old tuxedo cat called Silvestre Guantes :)
How long have you been online journaling? I started online journaling on LiveJournal in 2006, so that's... 18 years counting 2024 :D
Why do you like online journaling? I love feeling like I have some sort of safe space to speak my mind and keep track of my life. I also love being friends with people over here for years and years and remember how much their lives changed through time.
What are some of your hobbies? Writing is my main hobby atm ♥. But I also love fashion, organizing, reading (mostly self-help, neuroscience and YA genres), and playing videogames (League of Legends, Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, and my latest obsession: Infinity Nikki).
Favorite bands/artists: I'm stuck in 2010 lol I love k-pop (my favorite boyband is SHINee), Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Linkin Park. But these days I mainly listen to ambient or cozy music - it's either a cozy playlist or lo-fi girl in the background every day :)
Favorite TV shows: RuPaul's Drag Race, The Bachelor (occasionally, if I like the cast), Arcane. I don't watch a love of TV these days tbh lol. I'm mostly an anime girl through and through.
Favorite movies: How to train your dragon, Narnia, Harry Potter, The Secret Garden, Alice in Wonderland (1999).
Favorite books: My favorite vary from time to time, but the ones I keep in my shelf as a physical copy have a special place in my heart: Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice.
Other fandoms: I'm not big into fandoms tbh! I guess I outgrew them in my late 20s.
Is your journal friends only, partial or public?: 100% friends only, with the exception of my intro post that you can take a look at here :)
How often do you update?: If nothing crazy happens in my life, once a week. But I want to try to update more often.
What do you want in an DW friend?: I guess my main thing is commenting. I read a lot of people but hardly ever any of them comment on my entries :( and it's not just a numbers thing, it's the fact that I like interaction, and if people seldom comment then... yeah. Ofc I don't expect someone to comment on every single one of my entries, but popping up once every 6 months it's like ???
